IMACOTO BEACH is a pristine white sand beach and marine reserve site located in the long stretch of Albay west coast, the fishing village is under the administration of Brgy. Cagmanaba, Municipality of Oas, only 1 ½ hours  from Legazpi City.

 

 

Recently, stakeholders, Albay Blue Lane, volunteers, local government and NGO’s gathered to help create a sustainable and environmental preserving community that will employ responsible stewardship of Imacoto, coined as “I Save Imacoto” movement.

 

 

 

Some of the activities  that you can enjoy is Scuba diving, snorkeling, Beach bumming, kayaking, Sunset watching, Camping  and trekking.

HOW TO GO

An exclusive transport from Polangui (into Libon and Oas) or from Ligao City (taking Pio Duran-Ligao-Oas way) can bring you to the place in less than 2 hours.

 

WHERE TO STAY

You can pitch your tent at the beach but recently the Imacoto Beach Resort offers surprisingly 500 pesos for overnight stay at their Nipa Huts
