CORAL GENESIS PROJECT SITE

CORAL ROSARY DEVELOPMENT IN STO. DOMINGO ALBAY

Thru partnership with Junior Chamber International (JCI), local government unit (LGU) of Sto. Domingo, other stakeholders and environmentalist- the coral rosary were rehabilitated, re-assembled and restore in Sto. Domingo, Albay.

The project is famously called “CORAL GENESIS PROJECT”-which aims to inculcate public awareness on marine and aquatic resources through protection and conservation.

Coral Genesis is a Holy Rosary –themed technology with a portable micro under-water solar source, in which any shape, design, logo, or sculpture can be charged for fast coral recovery or even creation of themed sculptures.

The said project also jumpstart the “eco-nautical” tourism program of the Provincial Government of Albay (PGA).

HOW TO GO

Coral Genesis Site is located few meters from the shore of Brgy. Pandayan Sto. Domingo, Albay it is accessible by road from Legazpi and it will take you 20 minutes for 10 kilometers ride
